Mystery manifold line!!! HELP

Ok ranger folks,

Just got this awesome truck from my dad as he got a new one. 2004 edge step-side. I want to move on to make it look nicer but I can’t get past mechanical issues. I’m down to 2 codes. Dreaded P0171 and P0174. It fires right up but then the rpm’s slowly rise to 1700-2000 and stay there. When pulling a manifold off of a junkyard ranger I noticed that the elbow coming off of the manifold had two extra red lines as where mine did not. It was just taped up. Pics for reference. Could this be the source of the vacuum leak? I have carefully inspected all lines and tested with carb cleaner to see if there are rpm changes. No dice. This is the last thing before I can start the fun stuff.

I have replaced
2 oxygen sensors
mass air flow sensor
idle air control valve
bad fuel injector
upper intake manifold
TPS
cleaned throttle body
