Name This Bracket
2001 Ford Ranger Edge
3.0 V6 Manual Tranny
The truck just had a fresh long block installed by Ford. They reused the stripped oil drain plug and the rear main seal seems to be leaking (out of the clutch vent port?)...
Doing the first oil change we find this bracket sitting in the engine cross member. Has no markings on it. You can tell it's been bolted before.
We can't figure out where this goes.
