Autozone can't tell you what they are? or google? Heck, if I had 20 rangers, I'd have my own reader and code book. Sorry I can't help, just felt like posting something useless and un-helpful.

don't count on this, but i feel like 305 or 306 is EGR valve... had that on the Mountaineer
If you call ford they will tell you...

The P0174 is a vacumn or pvc code
P0304 is a misfire on cyl 4
P0305 is a misfire on cyl 5
P0306 is a misfire on cyl 6

I know what the codes are But I was hpoing for an opinions on the reason for them. I originally thought a burnt valve but on 3 adjacent cylinders it seems unlikely. The truck also has a new coil pack, wires, plugs and pcv valve. The prvious owner cleaned out the cats thinking it was bad cats but no effect.

Update!

Well sometimes you just get lucky....lol

I pulled the upper intake to look for problems and I found 1 fuel injector without the plug even in place and another that had the rubber seal blocking the connection. I bolted the intake back together and took it for a spin and guess what ....it runs good...no miss

Its not missing but if you rev it past 3000 it acts like something is cutting out and causeing a miss but when you drive it its smooth way past 3000 rpms. Its not idleing perfectly smooth but I was thinking maybe the empty convertors could be causing it. I'll swap out the convertors and see what happens...
