P0302 Misfire Caused by Mis-shift?
Hello fellow Ranger enthusiasts! I am new to this forum and am experiencing a cylinder 2 misfire with low compression. I own a 1999 Ranger 3.0 with a manual transmission. I bought the vehicle to learn how to drive stick in and believe that I may have messed my engine up by shifting into the wrong gear at the wrong time. Today I decided to pull the valve covers and can't see any noticeable damage. Is it possible that a valve could be bent or could it be a rocker arm or lifter. I would greatly appreciate some expertise on this dilemna
