Here are the combination of symptoms some make sense some don't. While sitting in the driveway from 1000-15000 rpm's there is a misfire. The speedo bounces at the same time, the right exhaust pipe is blacker than the left (dual exhaust), the codes pulled were 3, two I don't recall besides the P0304, I believe the other two were 1123 and 1134. This is a 2001 6 cylinder 3.0. When I picked the truck up today it was nearly out of gas. I say that hoping the symptoms now sound like a clogged fuel filter or sucked up a piece of dirt because before it was run low on gas, there was no raw fuel smell like now and the tail pipes weer both an even brown color. I hope this is not too long, I like to be thorough. I am getting a compression tester in the morning to rule out really bad news first.

 

pull your plugs and look at them. maybe coil pack?
