2002 3.0 Edge - I was checking the pcv for operation and am wondering why there is a heater hose wrapped around it? The heater inlet hose T's off to a small steel tube that does a tight "U" around the pcv then back to the heater outlet. Y?
Hoses are getting old and will need replacing fairly soon. A warmer for the pcv? I'm in Texas not Alaska.

It gets cold in Texas...I've seen snow in Dallas during the winter months...
