!!!! Please help immediately!!!

My 2003 V6 ford ranger 3.0 L engine 84,786 miles has been having a lot of issues lately I hear a loud whining noise all the time and when I hit the gas the noise gets louder and I have no type of power at all I was told that it was a camshaft synchronizer I had that replaced and still experience all the symptoms and I was getting lean codes and the mechanic who fixed the synchronizer told me that my Cadillac converter is clogged on the driver side right before the manifold and today while driving it was squealing and I completely lost power and barely made it home because the engine was going in and out and the temperature and oil all seem fine there was no dramatic change in that but the engine starts shaking And rocking and I’m just trying to see if anybody has any input or any similar issues and they can help me thank you

Well, yes, you're going to get serious problems if your cat has collapsed, you need to remove it or replace it before you go any further.

yeah I think they can check the pressure or something...I know they have certain test for those kind of things...it’s kist beyond that for me because I literally almost broke down and when I took off the 02censors it drove great...soo it’s a no-brainer...
