So I have a 1995 ford ranger 3.0 and I rebuilt the motor and it's ready to go back in now and I have put everything I could back on it. I have strung up my the exhaust manifold. I'll include pictures. Do you think the way I have it will support the engine and transmission??? I don't want to break anything but it would be easier to put the motor back in with the transmission attached also.
Yeah I have the people to help I just wanted to make sure I was going to snap off the exhaust manifolds with the weight of the engine and transmission together
No, not with all the bolts tight, 12 bolts share the load, 3.0l weights about 350lbs, automatic trans 200lbs(manual a bit less) so say 600lbs, thats only 50lbs per bolt
