Rear Wheel Cylinders

HELP.
I am repairing my rear brake lines and replacing the wheel cylinders. OE ones are obsolete and all the aftermarket wheel cylinders I have purchased have been wrong. The metal housing is too long to match to the OE cylinder. What should I do? Is is cheaper to change out my drums to discs?

Welcome to the forum

Would be helpful to know the year of the Ranger and if it has 9" or 10" rear brakes, just measure the drum
You can get wheel cylinders for either

9" and 10" brakes use different wheel cylinders, the 10" ones are 1/2" longer.

Rangers came with both sizes.
