First, I'm new to the forum!
I need to replace the camshaft position sensor on my '98 3.0. Does anyone have a recommended manufacturer out of this selection from RockAuto? https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...on+sensor,7192

 

I wouldn't worry too much about brand selection with your available choices. You do need to know however, whether you have a "2 pin" or "3 pin" sensor, and verify your plug shape. Now if it were the cam synchronizer that you were talking about, I would recommend OEM.
