Rough running getting worse

Hey all. I am at the end of my rope here....

She runs rough when I accelerate in fourth and fifth gears. At first it would work itself out, but now it is really bad. Last might I was worried she would stall out or something while on the turnpike.

Reads like partially block exhaust OR.....failing fuel pump or fuel filter

You can use a vacuum gauge to test for exhaust blockage

You can use a fuel pressure gauge to test for pump issue, 2000 Ranger should have 60psi fuel pressure

This comment: "At first it would work itself out.........." reads more like exhaust, as broken internals of Cat or muffler can shift around, causing blocked exhaust and then no block
