Hey everyone, just bought a 01 ranger with a siezed up 3.0 with flex fuel. My question is: do I have to find a flex fuel 3.0 to replace it or can I just get any 3.0 from a ranger? Thanks in advance for any help.

 

Joined this site to ask same question, Bought a 03 xlt with a rod hanging out of oil pan for 600 bucks. If i get just a 3.0 block can i swap everything for my motor to new block(except lower end parts) or is there something differend about a "flex fuel" block or is it just the intake that and sensors that are different???
