Did you change the plugs AFTER you seafoamed?

Seafoam will foul the plugs.

Sea Foam can definitely foul plugs, especially if the motor has some miles on it.

I had no problems when I Sea Foamed my 2.5L, but it only had maybe 80,000 miles at the time.

One more thing...I'd change your oil within 500 miles of using Sea Foam.

I've been thinking about seafoam, but heard that it can mess up old engines by removing carbon thats keeping everything sealed up.
Is that true?

My truck is a 92 with an older 4.0 in it. I put seafoam in it, and it runs 100X better. It gets RID of the carbon buildup which is BAD for the engine.

Its a toss up on Seafoam for "older" rigs...

I used mine on my '01 with 115k miles, and it did just fine, 1/2 a can in the brake booster, 1/2 can directly into the oil.. ran it for a week, then changed all the oil/filter/plugs on the next weekend, including spraying out the MAF with some cleaner, and all of that... then I switched into full synthetics soon as I did that, next up will be some replacement 02 sensors.. and I should be golden; truck is running like a champ, and the only liquid drip is from the AC compressor.

Did you try cleaning the IAC first? It's a very easy job...unbolt it, spray electronic parts cleaner until all the carbon **** comes out, let it dry, and replace.
