Stalled today..CEL on with codes

Hi Everyone- Been reading this site for a while, but now I have a little problem I need help with instead of throwing $ at it. 99 Ranger, 3.0 with around 78,000mi. 6 or so months ago the cel came on and I pulled the following codes P1000,P0133,P0153, and P0174. Having other things to take care of I just let it go.Today while leaving for work, the truck just stalled out. Cranks fine, but wouldnt start for the first 3 or so attempts. Then I noticed that it was wanting to start so I pumped the accelerator, and it fired up,like it wasnt getting fuel.I then proceeded home and took the wifes explorer to work. Since the cel has been on I havent really noticed any simptoms, except occasionally it idles just a little rough. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

There's no indication of a problem with the MAF sensor. P1000 just means that not all of the OBDII monitors have had time to complete since the last reset.

x2, p1000 is a "more driving needed code" not a MAF code

you need to clear the codes and drive it again and see what happens. having one bank lean could be a leaky intake gasket or the start of a bad MAF sensor, how many miles do you have?

Your code list is from six months ago. It would be a good idea to pull them again now to see if anything new is there. Do that BEFORE resetting the PCM.

Yep,Thats what I was thinking, maybe it threw one when it stalled. I keep thinking CPS, but thats probably from owning a diesel. Kind of the same symptom.I wouldnt think a o2 sensor would make it stall, even though they are probably trashed. Ill try and get the codes pulled this weekend. Thanks!

Check out your MAF anyway while your at it, it won't hurt.

Sucks when that thing starts malfunctioning. Might as well spray it with some cleaner while your in there.

So...This is how theyre supposed to run!

Just wanted to thank you guys for the suggestions. Replaced both o2 sensors, and cleaned the MAF, and re set the CEL. One of the sensors had the wire about rubbed through. Probably had the same problems starting when I bought it a year or so back, because now it really runs great. I mean, I realize its no power house, but had just accepted the fact it was kinda doggy. Now it seems to have a lot more pep, and doesnt seem to be pinging. Could just be wishful thinking, but seems a bunch better. Thanks again

Mine does the same, except no CEL

From what I've read and it looks like our trucks are doing the same thing. Let me know if your truck is doing similar to this video

Bc that's what my trucks doing, and I'm going to try to clean the IAC when I can get to the truck .

Catskinner hasn't been here in 10 years, chances are he won't even see your request for info.
