Truck specs: 1995 XLT , Standard Transmission , 3.0 V6

First post so be easy on me!

Not sure on why I'm having this issue with the truck.. When first bought was a high idling problem but was fixed. The truck seems to high rev but not really throttle stick but pushing on the gas pedal to the floor and back up seems to stop this problem temporarily. Would high idling be causing this? Only have this problem here and there but it is very frustrating! Any ideas on why this is happening?
