Tom Morana 1/8th mile comparison

Well guys I finally had a chance to go to the dragstrip. This is a comparison before and after Tom Morana's 1.7 roller rockers. Many of you guys wanted to see on paper the difference so here it is.

Before 1.7 roller rockers
60ft 2.45
1/8ET 10.765
18MPH 65.16

After 1.7 roller rockers
60ft 2.44
330ft 6.95
1/8ET 10.703
1/8MPH 65.55

This is only after 2 runs, Id imagine if I were to make atleast one more and get some heat into the tires I would make 10.6? SO here it is....

Heres a video against my buddies camaro

That's not really much of a difference... You could probably better that with the truck the way it was before in ideal conditions

it was actually pretty good track conditions, the track was prepped well. I wish I wouldve made a 3rd run, because the truck was still getting faster. Which is ironic because the truck hated being run more than once now its happier/ peppier. The truck also hated being hot lapped which is how I got the faster time. I also wish that I found a 1/4 mile track.

Whenever I get my bogging down at WOT fixed we should go hit up Roxboro or Dunn.

Thanks! Umm I have no idea.. I may go to Louisiana Pacific and weedeat there for a while... ugh. My major has changed so much I dont care what job I have as long as I get enough money to pay for my addictions (not crack or alcohol but cars and going fast). Im trying to get a job at our local autozone/ advance/ oreilly's parts stores. But Im looking for anything at the moment.
