I just got my Ranger a few days ago. My truck did not come with an owners manual. What is the towing capacity for my truck? It's a 99 Sport with 5 speed manual, four wheel drive, standard cab, short bed. There is a tow package on the back of the truck. Also, how can I find out which rearend gears I have? Thanks guys...

I basicaly have the same truck, and towing (pulling) it says 2650 pounds max.... pathetic

Jus cause Ford says what the towing is doesn't mean its exactly true :-) Jus don't try to tow ur house or something..and don't overdue it so that you're towing something thats very heavy, without trailor brakes.
