Trouble starting in semi cold weather

Well it has been starting to get cold and my truck has been having a really hard time starting in the morning. I don't plug it in yet because it's only -5 in the morning and that's about 23. I have to hold it trying to start the engine for a good 5 seconds before it starts. I need to get this problem fixed because if it's having trouble starting now it's sure gonna have trouble when it gets to -40.

What would help this?

Air temps been going up and down like a yo-yo between day and night ?
Warm days + cold nights = condensation.
Dump a can or two of dry-gas in the tank. Do it every fill-up for the next three tanks.

^^ Always a common occurrence in the spring and fall with the quick changes in temperature.

I think that might be my problem, it's going from anywhere to +10 to minus 5-10 at night so I think that might be the problem.

Is dry-gas just gas line anti-freeze? Like what takes any water out of gas lines?
