Hey guys & gals,

Interesting incident: My sister was driving the Ranger and parked it on an incline; truck was running fine before she turned it off. The truck was off for maybe 2 minutes (tops) when she went back to leave and noticed the truck wouldn't start (it would turn over, but not start, seemed like there was no fuel was going to the engine).

I checked the fuel cut off switch and that wasn't the issue. The truck had half a tank of fuel in it (89 octane) and has never done this sort of thing before being parked on that incline. Pressing the gas pedal while turning the key didn't do anything either. Anyway, we pushed it to a flat area and brought my scanner to read any possible codes, but there were no codes. I turned the key and it fired right up, like nothing happened and we haven't been able to recreate this issue.

Any ideas what the issue could be/could have been? It has no issues idling or any issues that seem like fuel deprivation at any RPM range. Fuel filter was changed about 2 months ago.
