Type or rear differential fluid to use

Morning gents

I have a 2005, 3.0 V6. What type of rear differential fluid do I need to use? Do I need to add a friction modifier?

Thank you

Look at the driver door label, back edge of door
Tale a picture of it to have

Lower part of label will have AXLE, under it 2 digits, 2 numbers means OPEN and Letter(R or F) and a number means Limited Slip(L/S)
Only L/S needed friction modifier

What the digits mean seen here: https://www.therangerstation.com/tec...ag-door-codes/
(capacity is weight limit of axle not fluid)

You can buy differential fluid with friction modifier added if in doubt, won't hurt an OPEN axle
80W-90 was spec

75w-140 synthectic is what many switch to and it was used in later years as spec

Thank you so much. I learned something today! So its an open diff with 3.73 gear ratio. Guess I will look for an 80W90 fluid
