well the only thing i can suggest is to go to autozone and get the codes pulled to find out whats the problem... also its really helpful to make a signature in your profile so that everyone can see the details on your truck and help you better

And how long had it been doing it...

 

When the CEL is on solid and the engine is running, it means that OBDII had identified a fault and stored a Dignostic Trouble Code.

If it flashes on and off while the engine is running, it means the OBDII diagnostics is currently detecting misfire on one or more cylinders.
