Hello all. This is my first post but I’ve gotten lots of help from reading all your posts. RonD is a god. I recently purchased a 2000 Ranger with a 3.0 Flex Fuel engine. Shortly after, it blew up on the freeway after only 245,000 miles. So I stumbled into a project. I replaced the engine with a used one with 73,000 miles on it. I’ve got a lot of little issues but overall it seemed to be the right move. This was my first engine replacement and I did it all by myself (not really, this forum helped a lot). I’m a big boy now. I only have this one piece left over and it’s killing me. Who can tell me where to put this?
It goes on the driver's side one end attaches to the bolt on the exhaust manifold and the other supports the bracket for the wiring harness on that side. I can send a picture later
The dip stick support is accounted for, but I appreciate the input.
Yes, if you have time to send a photo, it would be appreciated. I can see where there is room for it but the harness may be missing a plastic clip or something.
