Bed cargo slides.

Bed cargo slides.
Has anyone found a cargo slide that is low profile?
The ones I have seen which are advertised as "low profile" are over 3" tall over the bed...many of them over 4"
That's not really low profile no matter how you look at it.
I wound up building my own out of wood using a frame with wheels and a tray.
The one I built raises the bed height about 1-1'2" at the most.
Of course it doesn't have the capacity that the steel slides do,...but it allows clearance to haul tools and keep them covered under the tonneau cover.
But it doesn't allow any slide lock or very much extension past the tailgate.......that is the issue I would like to resolve.
Parking on hills can be challenging.
I'm not opposed to fabricating (welding) my own but I haven't come up with a method or design that gives me the low profile that I am looking for.
