Bye bye Ranger

Today I traded my 2019 Ranger in for a F150 STX.
It was still in good shape, ran well and interior was like new.
But since my wife and I are slowing down and looking to retire I thought it was time to replace it while the finances were available.
I would have bought another Ranger but the 5' bed just won't cut it for me.
Earlier this week the check engine light came on and the battery light as well.
My wife panicked and decided maybe it's time to replace it....so we did.
Today when I started it both the check engine and battery light were off....never came on again.
Oh well....at least they gave me $20K for it.
The F150 is quite nice, but considerably bigger so that will need some getting used to.
But the Super Crew is very roomy and the folding back seats adds about another 18 sq. ft. of space for tools, groceries etc.
I was sorry to see the Ranger for the last time as we drove away.....but it served me well.
Sadly Ford had different ideas for that model that didn't fit my needs anymore.

Same with me --- great trade-in value on 2019 even though we waited 18 weeks for the 2025. What's a couple of extra 1000 miles.
BUT.............got the electric sliding rear window, but lost the hood supports (now back to the 1949 style rod hood support), lost the electric fold-in exterior mirrors, but it sounds like they didnt delete the 2nd horn like they have been doing in other vehicles.
And, the color does not match the paint chip in the 2025 Ford Exterior color brochure.
