2019 Ranger with the auto 10 sp trans. This this is driving me crazy! I bought it used with about 58k miles on it and soon discovered the problem. After doing some YT research, I downloaded Forscan and deleted the Adapt Learning tables and disabled it. The torque conv locks/unlocks at lower speeds and the trans doesn't shift down when I am decelerated. I could be going 30 mph and be in 8th hear. 800 rpm and the truck jerking. I've taken it to the Ford dealer and they say ther is nothing "wrong" with it. Is there anything else I should be doing" How about changing the trans fluid?

 

i had similar symptoms with my 2019. They gradually worsened. At about 67K miles I had the transmission fluid and filter changed. It made an immediate improvement in smoothness of low speed operation.
