Thank you for the update. We did call our dealer, we have a production date of February 14th now. Also, our image and 360 view of our truck has been posted on the Ford Tracker. The images all look to be precise with all of the custom things we ordered such as the appearance package (wheels etc..) and the rearview sliding window. We are excited!!

 

Just Ordered a 22 SuperCrew FX4 and the new Splash package a week ago. How long did it take to get notified that the build will be scheduled for production?

HI, we were notified soon after the order. I believe it was 2 or three weeks, But, they gave us Jan 3rd build date which has since been pushed back to February 14th.

 

Ordered a Lariat Tremor (Silver, Tech Package, Tow Package) last week. Dealer told be if i deleted auto stop/start it would get built sooner. My answer was "I didn't know I could delete it, but I'm glad I can get rid of that feature."

I'd literally pay more to not have that on my truck.


I had originally ordered a Maverick (on 1/5), but switched my order to a Ranger. The Maverick had a 3/21 build date. It took 2.5 weeks to get the build date info in an email from Ford. They're nolonger taking Maverick orders for 2022.

 

Last week I ordered a Lariat Tremor edition. Dealer told me that if I deleted auto stop/start It would get built sooner. I didn't even know I could delete that feature. I hate it, so that's just a bonus.

 

Ford/GM are destroying themselves. Whether it's semiconductors or batteries or any of the other tech in their cars, they stopped leading decades ago and let others take control. Hopefully Ford is learning from this and will take a note from Tesla and bring components like this back in-house.

Since you were moved up, I guess we will be moved up to Feb 22nd. It sounds like we are running a week behind you. We are at Feb 14th after being moved up from January 3rd. Did you have to call the dealer again? Or did you get an email.

 

I am receiving emails from Ford. When I check the order status site at Ford, I also see the info updated. I got a VIN for my 2021 order back in November but it was updated to a 2022 VIN when all 2021 orders were canceled. My new Vin and dealer order number work at the Ford order status site.

 

Same here, my emails are directly from Ford and usually on a Friday, my dealer lags back a few days after. The Recent shifting of production is the chip shortage resulting in the Ranger assembly plant shut down for this week.
Mine went from March 7th week to March 21st week.

Just ordered a 2022 Ranger Lariat SuperCab in Cactus Gray. This is the third time I’ve ordered a truck and absolutely hate the waiting game, but it is what it is. Any bets on when I might be looking at a confirmation from Ford would be greatly appreciated. This too shall pass.

 

I placed my XLT order on Nov 27th, January 21st I received an email notice from Ford for production of the week for March 7th. Then on Feb 4th I received another Email from Ford of a delayed Production schedule to the week of March 21st as the Ranger/Bronco Plant was idle for last week (Chip shortage). My emails from Ford come on Friday's.
The January 20th Ford email also included my VIN number and tracking information. Don't believe the Window Sticker is available till at least a week before the schedule production but I do check for it once a week.

 

Got an email from Ford that my 2022 Ranger Lariat Supercab is scheduled for the week of April 11th. Wonder how long after it is built to be delivered?

Ford Order web site says my Ranger is now in production!
Still do not have the window sticker yet.
Build better than the previous time of week of Feb 28.
Guess my parts came in before the Canadian blockaid.

 

Received my window sticker on the Ford order status web site. Price has increased about $1,000 from when I first ordered the 2021 in August. Sticker says it will come to the Pacific NW by rail. No delivery or shipping date available yet.
Says I still will get my spray in bed liner which some say was a cause for delays the end of last year. Also my Hot Pepper Red Metalic paint.

 

I opted to have dealer do spray in liner because I heard the same thing about delays from factory.

 

Ordered on 11/16/2021, got email with anticipated build date of week of Feb 28th on 1/20/22, and got a text from dealer yesterday (2/24/22) that it was pushed back a week and now it looks like it will be built week of March 7th. It is a white XLT 4X4 with the 301A and trailer tow package. Really hoping I get to see it by the end of March!

 

My Dealer (Denver) said 2 weeks for delivery.

I too have been noticing the price increases since I ordered in Late November, I too went with the spray-in bed liner.

 

Hi all, ordered October 22, 2021, our Ranger is now in production as of 2/28. Window sticker is not yet available.

 

My original build week of April 11th has been pushed to April 18th. Hope this isn't a trend.

 

Production complete 3/2/2022. Rail shipping next. Noticed there are no incentives at this time. Dealer told me that I would only qualify for incentives at time of delivery not order. Some here say they locked in an incentive when they ordered. I did not put down a deposit at time of ordering. Guess my dealer knows if I do not take it they can sell it quickly anyway.

 

Just ordered a Supercab Lariat Ranger in cactus grey, I'm in Az, I heard something on a different thread about there being a part shortage for the super cabs has anyone heard anything recent on that? Is it still 24 weeks build time or did I read that wrong somewhere?
