05 4.0L with K&N intake?

I bought a K&N FIPK for my 05 XLT last night and wondered if anyone else has any experience with these? I didn't read the sticky above till now and the quote about "needs a reflash for using and CAI" has me thinking. Has anyone else with intakes had any issues with codes coming up? I understand the MAF may get dirty, but I was wondering if anyone had anything pop up with a lean condition or anything like that. I just hope I wont have any problems with this setup. I would appreciate any feedback, thanks.

I have had the K&N intake on LIL BLUE since they first came out for the modern Ranger MAF.
Never threw a code - sounds more powerful - seat of the pants meter indicates faster off line response.

Thanks for your quick response. Eases my mind a bit. I've been looking for people with intakes on the new style MAF. Guess I just didn't look hard enough. But with the exhaust I had done, it should make some difference.
