1990 4.0L rebuild

Is it worth get a 1990 4.0L rebuilt or just send it to the scrap pile?

depends on what kinda rebuild, just reconditioning? or everything? also what shape is it in now?

It needs top end reconditioned. Has a bad knock after speeds of 60+.
So meaning hydrolic roller lifters and valves need replaced.

If you like the truck go ahead and refresh the top end and be happy. If not sell it...but dont scrap it.
