1994 4.0 XLT 4x4 oil pan gasket type?

Everyone,

I have a leak on my oil pan gasket and figured I mise well just change it. I have a little over 167,000 miles on my 4.0 OHV. When I went to the dealership to order parts, they said there are 2 types... a "worm" type and a "flat" type. The "worm" type was a discontinued part but could still be ordered. My truck was to old to use the VIN to find out what type to use. Figured I would ask you guys here as you have all been a great help in the past.

Thank you.

Lots of posts about this several years ago. Might want to search google. They had different pans and gaskets.

I did do a search, but was not able to get anything solid on it via Google or here on the forum. Lot's of talking about the different ones, but no yes or no answer. Will try again and see what comes up this time.
