My 97 4.0 5 speed doesn’t have a tach and I’ve acquired a panel with tach/speedo: I understand the wiring harness has tach connectors to the panel: is there any connection I need to make inside the engine bay?!!

1996-2003 Ranger or B-series Clusters are plug and play, with tach or without tach
Tach signal comes from the computer(PCM)
