My temperature gauge on the dashboard is not working. I tried to order a new temperature sensor, but there is 2 of them and the one I got from the parts store was for the one on the passenger side. I replaced it and the gauge still didnt work. Is it the one on the drivers side that I need to replace? If so, how do I know I'll get the right part? What do I look for when ordering it to distinguish it from the other sensor that's right next to it?
My truck is idling extremely rough. It cannot stay idling without me revving the engine. It will always die. I am hoping the temperature sensor will help this, but if anyone else has any quick fixes to try (clean MAF?), please let me know.

A bad TempSensor is likely NOT cause of running\idling issue;
Do you have any OBD2 TroubleCodes? How long since you've:

Thank you very much for your detailed reply! I know I am late here, but we had an emergency in the family, so I am just getting back to the truck now!
I was able to read the ODB2 codes. There were 9 of them.

P0171 - System Too Lean Bank 1.
P0174 - System Too Lean Bank 2.
P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected.
P0301 - Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected.
P0302 - Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected.
P0303 - Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected.
P0316 - Engine Misfire Detected On Startup (First 1000 Revolutions).
As far as the answers to your questions of when the follow have been performed:
>~ Renewed Plugs+Wires+OxSensors
Plugs and wires have been a long time. maybe 6 years. I have never replaced the OxSensors. Not sure if previous owner did.
> ~ Renewed PCVValv & inspected PCV+VacHoses for cracks+leaks
I have not done this. Well.. I took a very quick look to see if I could find an obvious leak. I would need to take a much better look to be sure.
> ~ Renewed AirFilter
This I have done recently. Maybe 2k miles ago.
> ~ Cleaned MAFSensor
Did this today. However, previous to that, it had been maybe 2 years. I am in minnesota and a link from your signature (very helpful stuff btw!) said that our climate here may require MAF to be cleaned more frequently.
> ~ Cleaned+Lubed+ReSealed ThrottlBody +IACValv +EGRValv
I cleaned ThrottlBody and IACValv about 2 months ago. I have not lubed or resealed them. I have not touched the EGRValv.
> ~ Checked ThrottlPosSensor for good smooth Signal
I have not done this.
> ~ Inspected DPFESensor & connected RiserTubes+Hoses, renewed if needed
I have not done this.
Start by replacing left+right OxSensors, since you've got specific TroubleCodes for those; see if that gets rid of most\all of your issues.
After you see that result, then renew the Plugs+Wires. One item at a time, so to be able to differentiate the root cause. Click here for more info on the OxSensors. Click here for more info on the Plugs+Wires.

While looking at the pcv valve, I noticed a hose was bad. I replaced it and now it runs and idles perfect. I cleared the codes and will check again if there are any misfires or oxsensor issues if the check engine light comes back on, but things sound much better.
