Right now I have a 2003 Ranger with a 3.0 in it. I've been thinking about putting a 4.0 engine in it sometime this summer and I have a few questions.

Besides the engine, transmission, and rear end, what will I need to get to make this happen and how much will those other parts cost? Do I have to tell my insurance company? If I choose to get a doner truck, where is a good place in the Dallas area to look for one, and about how much will it cost to get a decent one?
