so someone gave me a 2.5" flowmaster 40 for my truck. where can i get a flange to go behind the cat? or should i just cut off the flange and run pipe back from there? I plan on dumping it in front of the rear tire

 

38 people viewed this and no ones done an exhaust before? Do i need to go to a muffler shop and have it custom made? Anyone?

 

i just cut the flange off and put my muffler on but i have it dumped right out the muffler,and all my stuff is held on my clamps,one these day it's gonna get welded on

 

i bought a replacement s bend pipe that is 2.5 OD and bolts on after the cat but slides into the intake on the muffler. it's not ideal but it was easier than cutting and welding a new flange. i think it was dynomax, like $30

 

Had mine cut welded on for me for 30bucks so if 30 bucks is to much don't know what to say. just take it to a muffler shop get it done right.

 

Go to a muffler shop and get it put on, or if you want to do it yourself any auto parts store can hook you up with a flange.

 

When they did my exhaust they just cut the flange off and welded the pipe on.
