There is a specific MAF spray cleaner. Don't touch the wires.. just spray them.
Now on the TB. I've always used a tooth brush and "throttle body cleaner". **Don't use** "carb cleaner. They are two different things!
Also, there is a clear coating on the TB plate and inside diameter. I cleaned mine with the proper spray and it still disolved this coating. I wound up having a flaky idle and the truck would drive on it's own at 20mph!
I fixed it by very carefully grinding down the stop pin until I had a 0.005" gap around the plate.
Just note.. that after you clean it, that if the idle and slow speed driving is different? The fix is easy.. PM if you need help.
