4.0l engine was swapped into this truck before I bought it. I have replaced the starter twice now and I’ve pulled out the transmission and replaced the flywheel and inspected everything, separator plate was in reinstalled. This has seemed to help there be less of a grind but it still persists even a few seconds after the car is started One thing that I thought was odd was that the guy I bought the truck off of had installed a push start button which may have something to do with this. I’ve scoured the ranger station website looking for a solution this seems to be an isolated problem. Any ideas?
