Icon2 ? about AC hose..

My AC hose that runs along the bottom pulley, whatever that is called, does anyone with a 3" BL have a problem with the hose leaking at the crimps? I Think there was an extension for that hose that came with the BL, but im unsure...

Point is it is leasking at the extension. All my freon leaked out there, does anyone know if PA's 3" BL comes with this and would a new one be better, or should i have a longer hose made? Or does anyone know where I can get a longer hose made?

I got a relocation bracket with my bl. Nothing to extend the line.

I still ended up rubbing a hole in my hose like a loser. lol So I got a new one and bent the bracket to clear everything.

No its not the hose, i watched the freon coming out of the metel piece. Its about 3" long and connects 2 hoses, its crimped on both ends. I just wonder what the hell to do?....Does a new hose come with that piece?

I'd go to the junkyard and get the whole deal.

when you BL you grab the hose and bend it out of the way...since the majority of the freon is in a gaseous state, are you sure you dont just see condensation on the metal hose?

yes you have to recharge it, all the freon leaked out. (NO AC)...

Justin, that may be what happened. The shop that BL my truck must have bent it to hard.....

Heres the story, I got the truck back from the shop last september. When I got home the AC hose was cut from the fan, from the ride home....Well I take it back, they didnt put the relocation bracket on. So they did that and replaced the hose but didnt charge it,

Well i get down here and now its uber hot and I get it charged. Well the freon leaked out. It was spewing out of where the crimps are on that 3" metel piece.

Justin do you know which AC hose Im talking about, and can you get a picture of it from under your truck, and include that metel spacer piece, and get me a quote on a new hose?

WTF I would've made them recharge it.

This was the one I picked up at the junkyard.

couldnt you just buy the hose instead of the whole system? or are those compression/crimped on fittings?
