Hey guys, I'm pretty new on here and hoping you guys can help me out.

Here's the situation,
​​​​​​I have an 08' FX4 and today the battery light came on, I did some voltage tests and decided to replace the old with a new motomaster battery.
thats all done, I check the voltage and was getting 12.8 with the truck off and about 14.2 with it on, but the light hasn't gone out. I checked the alternator, and I'm getting about 14.5 from that with the truck on.

I can't figure out why the lights still on Because everything seems to be in good working order. What do you guys think? Anything will help out.
