Changed Thermostat now temp guage not working

Ok, I changed my coolant and thermostat and now my coolant guage doesn't work. I checked the wires everything looks ok. Maybe I knocked the guage while removing the therm. housing. Evrrything looks ok though.

What else can I check. Scanguage shows all the proper temps.

Coolant level is fine, I grounded the sending unit, no movement.

The sensor that the scanguage uses is a different one than the guage uses.

Try grounding out the wire and see what the guage reads. If it pegs hot then it's most likely working. If it doesn't... either it's bad or the computer in the guage cluster is.

I was thinking maybe you have an air pocket in the coolant right around the spot of your sensor. It was pretty common on a few cars where they'd just read cold until you got the air bled out.
