My oil pressure gauge is jumping, vibrating,and going haywire. replaced the sensor sending unit and have the same results. Im going to use my ohm meter to check the sensor. Am I correct in assuming the sending unit should have no voltage flowing through it while off and some (if so how much) ohms resistance with engine running? Im also borrowing a manual pressure gauge to check the pressure at the opening where the sensor is located on the block.
