hey guys so my truck started leaking oil about a week ago. further inpection i have noticed too vary small cracks. i wanted too drop oil pan and weld crack but manual says i need too remove engine too drop oil pan. any other ideas help is needed

 

I'm pretty sure you do have to pull the motor to get the oil pan off

 

Its a good excuse for a new crossmember...

What motor do you have 3.0? 4.0?

 

i have the 4.0l ended up draining oil and jb welding it together the crack wasnt even a hairs width. ill let u know how it holds

 

lol jb weld for the win lol i had a cars oil pan rust out on the bottom on time and did the same thing its still holding as far as i know and that was almost 2 years ago

 

ghey cracks! hope the jb weld holds, did you clean the pan before applying?
