But when i take off the oil cap there is a whiteish color... n e one know what the hell is wrong and got n e tips... .if it is siezed... i got a warrenty but i need to pressure wash it... lol.... so if you guy/ gals no n e thing or have n e ideas just let me know something.... if the engine still cranks he didnt suck in enough water

you really should have pulled the plugs before cranking it

the crap on oil cap is most likley oil additives (esp if he has used penzol or something with teflon in it)

now you say no fuel pump?

have you double checked your inetia switch? its under the carpet in the pass foot well near the top
make sure the bottun is pushed down

I mean if i let it sit for a like a day or so you think it could dry out.... maybe give me some hope.... lol.... i hope the warrenty covers dumbasses... lol lets hope for the best

no warranty coverage - you can't hide a broken rod
that is if you hydrolocked - key is locked means it will not turn over at all - so maybe not
you should have pulled all the plugs before trying to turn it over if it did not crank on the first try
pull them all now - well at least 5 unless you pull the passenger fender cowl
then try cranking it and blow out any remaining water
if the engine does not crank very easily, or if you hear strange banging or knocking noises you haev major internal engine problems
re-install the plugs (after inspecting each one) and see if she starts

PS - water over the hood is too deep
oh and by the way - nice story for your fourth post

follow his drections. I pulled a friends stock explorer out of a water hole, that had died in the middle of it after i went through. We pulled it out, tried to start it over and over, nothing. Dried all electrical things like the coil and stuff, still nothing. Pulled the intake, a lil water came out. so we figured water got in the engine. So i towed him home, we pulled all the plugs and wires, turned it over, and got a new face full of water. replaced the plugs, wires, and was better than before.
worth a try, and if it works, you wont have to worry about changing them again for a long time.

The same kind of thing happened to me, I went through some water, and all of a sudden it cuts off. I try and start it and it just makes this clicking sound and a low wineing sound i guess, and it just kept doing it. Then I got pulled out of the water, and i just kept trying to start it and gave it gas and what not, and it finally start to my great supprise. It ran really really ruff for a couple of hours, it was sputtering really bad it would go then just stop then go, i guess water got into the cylenders. Then about a week later I took my intake cover off and a bunch of water poored out. Just give it a day or two let it dry out, and try to start it, thats all i can think of. I got really lucky.

Was your exhaust submerged, or just the front? I believe if you stall out with the exhaust submerged it can sieze the engine as well. How did you manage to get the truck home?
