so i must be dumb like really dumb. i cant get my PCV out for the life of me. what the ***** am i i doing wrong its really killing me. ive done dozens of them. my truck is just stubborn and hates me i guess

 

Are you turning it to line up the ears on the pcv valve with the notches on the valve cover?

 

Just pop it off with a screw driver

 

That's your problem right there.

 

I had to pull mine out with pliers because it wouldn't come out.

 

thats how i always did it.

 

There are notches that you have to line up by turning it, kind of like a headlight. Then just pull it out. It should be heated with a cooling line wrapping around it, DO NOT unhook these until your truck is cooled down...ask me how I know. There really isn't much room to get at the little bastard, the last time I pulled the coil pack out of the way so I could get back there.
