It's been doing this for awhile and seems to be getting worse. Only when cold. It will fire, tach reading of 500 rpm and will sputter for about a second or two then it will come out of it and run fine.

I've ran two bottles of Lucus Fuel Treatment in the last tank of gas. No noticable changes. I plan on doing a full tune-up this summer. I only have 62K but with the price as gas these days.....anything to help.

Just wondering if there is anything I should look at now before the tune-up? Thanks.

 

Dirty MAF, EGR, fuel reg. pressure? I hate it when my truck is the only one with a certain problem!?

 

Check engine light on? Sounds like a possible misfire. A tuneup would be a good place to start. I'd change the fuel filter with it though.
