Final Exhaust Thread (Please Vote!)

Okay guys I need a poll on this. I want a muffler that won't sound ricey, won't sound like a fart can and won't drive me nuts a year from now. I love, absolutely love, the flowmaster (40) sound on some of the clips guys have sent me. But then I hear a dynomax ( super turbo) and love the soft low rumble and how it seems to stay nice and smooth.

I need you to vote on which muffler you think would suit me. I can handle the noise and love hearing my engine and what not but will the flowmaster drive my dad/mom nuts if they have to take this out. Mammio - I'd like your thought as well here.

I'm split about 50/50 and whatever I buy I buy and get it installed next friday. Thanks for the help and I promise everyone I'll stop littering the boards with these crazy threads.

Also, this won't make my decision, it's just nice to hear others opinions on compairing two mufflers. And please don't say a different brand - I've ruled out the others.

I got the flowmaster exhaust off of MRC's truck when he switched to a Dynomax side exit (he had to to fit his trailer hitch back on,) and we both agree that the flowmaster sounded better than the dynomax on his truck (4.0OHV) but sounded even better on my 3liter.

They ought to be illegal, or at least it ought to be legal to P.I.T. anyone you run into who has them.

My reasons for not going with the others:

Borla - Nice overall but not the tone I'm really looking for. Also can't find a muffler the size and specs I want.
Magnaflow - Just doesn't seem to give it a deep rumble anytime. I heard a few 6ers with magnaflow and It sounds quiter than stock.
Gibson - Sounds funny to me. Not a real deep tone.

I know of someone with a dynomax on his grand prix and it sounds nice but he wants to go borla. His rumbles up to about 2.5 k and then after that just plain sound goods. I've yet to hear a flowmaster on a 6 in person. But the clips I hear online are great.

I'll shut up now and decide.

I have a Ravin, it's nice and deep, but not too loud. Ravin you may have to search for it, their site isn't coming up for me.

Magnaflows are for performance not sound, Flowmaster is for sound I think IMO.
I'm going BORLA.

Did anyone ever hear a JBA system or an EVOL? I've been looking around for a system and ran into those along with gibson and others.

Got it, thanks.

Ordered the muffler tonight. Flowmaster Original 40 single 2.5 in and dual 2.25 out. "Q" found me a place that actually had the one I wanted. Hopefully they truly do have it and won't find out that they don't have any more. I'll just have to wait and see.
