I think they're the biggest OEM supplier of Gas caps as well.

 

It will also come on for the inertia switch. If the inertia is switch is activated your truck wouldn't run. In that case all you need to do is reset it, located at the edge of the carpet in passenger foot well.

If interested you can activate it with a small screw driver of your key. Just pop the red plunger up.

 

yea i know about that switch i sat on the side of the road with my laptop trying to figure out wtf was wrong with my truck.lucally a neighbor to where i was had wireless......i was happy it wasn t nothing major....

 

got me a brand new one it looks exactly like the one that i broke! its a stant it was 8.88 from advance auto parts!

np man. That $8 and some change got rid of the Fuel Reset light I take it?

edit: make sure you don't lose it! doesn't look like it came with the retainer ring the stocker came with.

 

yep...now iam going tocheck the codes on the engine and make sure there isnt anything else besides the p401 egr insufficient code..and i guess iam going to start replacing crap until the check engine light is off...lol....

Why didn't you have advanced/autozone run the codes while you were getting your haynes manual and gas cap?
