I hit a snowbank when it was -30 and it shattered. And have been putting off getting another until i decide exactly what i am going to do, was considering making a custom bumper like those monster bumpers but giving up on that idea i think. But now i think i am going to replace the valance and get it sprayed in black Line-X to give it some more strength and get the flares done to match. And possibly a black Westin bull bar.

My friend said he saw a Black one a few years back in Edmonton. But hasn't seen it since.
I have been considering painting mine black!

Finally got the exhaust finished. Had to get the head tube cut down because it was the extended cab version, and i got a good deal on it! Thought i could cut it down myself but it wasn't the case due to the bends, so I brought it into the shop to get it modified to fit. And since it was there i had them finish the install and weld the whole thing instead of using clamps. Cost a little more but it looks allot cleaner and i wont have to worry about leaks!
It took a bit more more messing around and $$$ to get it up and running than I planned but now that its done I'm happy with it, would have been cheaper if i had waited to try and find a reg cab short box version and did the install myself with clamps,, but whatever, its done, and I love it.

Excuse the dirty truck, all the snow is melting trying to keep it clean is hopeless. I will get some better pics when next time i give it a good wash.

The only thing that needed to be cut down was the pipe going into the muffler from the cats. head pipe i think its called?? I was intending on being able to do it myself but due to the bends and shape of the pipe i realized i needed another one or that one reshaped. And i wanted to have it welded in anyways do i brought it into a shop that does custom exhausts to have a new pipe made and the rest of it welded together. It cost a bit of money but they did a really nice job and i am happy with the end result. Welds are allot nicer than clamps!

I am thinking about cutting out the cat's and replacing them with high flow's or just a piece of pipe. so i can clamp them in if needed. Is that a 3rd cat or just a collector where they come together? And also header opinions! I've heard they dont do much for these engines. And i dont want to drop a pile of money on some pretty jba ceramics if they wont do much.
thanks for the comments as well!
