I ordered a head gasket kit, when checking gasket to one I pulled off, the coolant passage holes on new gasket were only on one end. I matched gaskets together and original gasket has coolant passage holes on each cylinder. The new gaskets had only coolant passages on one end each. The gasket number on package googled to a 4.0 ohv but the label on box said 3.0. Haynes manual showed a gasket like one they sent for a 4.0 but the gasket I pulled off engine had holes on each cylinder. Could I have wrong gasket and have a publication that has a bad example too? I'm ready to assemble and don't have time to return via mail. I'd just have to buy from parts store like NAPA. I'm sure someone can shed some light, thanks Tomcatt. Hydro lock cracked head.
