I have JBA headers on my 03 4x4 4.0L and they fit - barely. The clearance between the oil filter adapter and the PS header is very tight. Some people have reported serious interference there but mine weren't that bad. I ground a small bevel on the collector flange to increase the clearance.

Be forewarned - these are quality headers but they are rather expensive and require 1~2 days to install them. If you want performance, a tuner from BamaChips will get you more for less money and a lot less hassle. If you want sound, a performance muffler will give you much more than these headers.

Headers are part of a total performance package for those interested. If you have the hook up I would get them.

It feels like the JBAs give you a bit more power at the top end of the RPM band. IMO, the small difference is not because the JBAs are a bad design, it's more that the stock manifolds on the 4.0L are pretty good.

If you like noise, you need something other than a Magnaflow. It is not a loud muffler and adding the JBAs wouldn't change it much.

Yeah, the stock manifolds flow amazingly well. I really need to get a set to match the heads and cams that I have right now but I have been too busy getting "look" modifications done so they just haven't been in the budget. But with that rebirth of my nitrous system I think that I am gonna need to get some soon.
