how amazing?

Lets say you had an unlimmited supply of monney. How much more could you get out of this engine?
Say you had a built bottem end like some of those tom morona parts and there stage 3 heads with a super charger? Thats is about 10 000 and that is alot for a ranger but this is about what could be not whats a good idea.

how high do u think with a excelent valve train this could rev?
with a built bottem how much power do you think you could put into it?
and we will pretend we there was a tranny that could take it.

REVing isnt all in the valve train. The bottom end has to be properly balanced with light weight parts..

I've seen Chevrolet 4.3 engines that put out over 1000hp with turbos. If you've got the money it can be built.

24psi - 4.3 liter Chevrolet - almost 8000rpm - http://www.myspace.com/video/vid/2303905

Personally, if money were no object, and it were going in a Ranger, I'd stroke it as far as I could, and put a torquey cam in it and supercharge it. Make the thing squeeze as much low end as I could get out of it.

I think Ty meant that if money were no object, he wouldn't be building a Ranger.

I´m with Ty and Kyle, I will have in mind a brand new eco-boost powered Ranger !!, good mileage, good power, good performance, state of the art engine.

Yes I know this 4.0 and ranger are not the engine or vehicel to do up if money was no object.
this is not what what is its about what could be.

ok lets say with 10 000 dollers no labor or anything what do you think you could get out of a 4.0
