I have my last cat gutted and a 2 chamber race flowmaster with a turndown, dunno if you can remember what it sounded like back at the meet, But it has a nice deep sound for being a 3.0.

For those running fake dauls, are you using a single in/daul out muffler or a single in/out muffler and Y-ing it out toward to rear of the truck? Just wondering it it makes a differnce in the sound.

Still looking at used Rangers. I am mostly waiting on insurance money that due my way. My pimped out Yamaha Raptor 660 was stolen two weeks ago. Hope to get one soon.....then I can start modding again.

within a week or two i will have my new[used 3 months] muffler.
A mustang V6, or a GT muffler. Buddy at work has a v6 stang, and bought the mufflers for a GT[came in a set only] and he only used one. So he's gonna give me one.
How do you guys think it'll sound, it will be out the side[lightning style]. Since the 4.0's sound good in the stangs, with less piping, and a bigger exhaust tip, should sound good , right?

IMO, Magnaflow is superior to all. The only thing against them is name recognition and long time experience. Those in the know, however, will agree that Magnaflow offers an exceptional product. Their cat-back systems are entirely stainless steel (repeat: ENTIRELY) and IMO the overall sound is highly tasteful. At idle, it is quite subdued and well mannered. Alas... hit that go pedal and open up the throttle, and it lets itself be known!! It is the best compromise for those looking for loud as well as credible sound, since the idle tone doesn't try to show off.

Magnaflow is on the path to replace Flowmaster as the default performance exhaust system.
